The last couple entries have been a bit... on the more downplayed side, no? Lets find us something a bit more in-your-face for today.

Castlevania: Bloody Tears

Dawn of Sorrow version | Super Castlevania 4 version

Bloody Tears is one of the Castlevania series' staple songs, second only to Vampire Killer, and for good reason. This piece is not only perfect for fast paced action, but also for establishing a moody atmosphere.

I included two different versions here because they're both good at doing different things. Dawn of Sorrow's version sounds better and is better suited for an adventurous soundtrack, while Super Castlevania's version is darker and better at putting you on edge. And since both versions are trying to do different things, its really hard to declare one better than the other. So which do you prefer: action or suspense?
