Bats

Good Evening.

Like pretty much everything related to Hitchcock, this piece is best at being very subtle in its creepiness. Its one of those things that will only get under your skin if you let it, which in a way, kinda makes that much creepier.

Oh goodness, is it Friday already? Well, I have quite the treat for you this time!

Hotel 626 and Asylum 626 are a pair of scary browser-based adventure/puzzle games, kinda like if Myst and Silent Hill decided it would be cool to play with superglue and then promptly glued each other together. The great thing about these games is how immersive they are: Asylum immediately prompts you to turn off the lights and put on your headphones, and Hotel even goes as far as to use your webcam and microphone to enhance the gameplay experience! The site even locks you out of the games until 6 PM, ensuring that you can only play when its dark outside.

Unfortunately, my computer seems to be just barely shitty enough that it can't really run these very well. But I did get a bit into Asylum before my browser started choking on its own candy corn-colored vomit, and what I did play really was scary as shit. I highly recommend checking these out i you're in the mood for an intense experience.
